Identify the DOT agency rules that apply to your operation and ask about the appropriate consortium or third-party administration arrangement.
Supervisor education
For covered CDL supervisors, FMCSA describes at least 60 minutes of alcohol-misuse and 60 minutes of controlled-substance training. Ask the team about the appropriate course; do not substitute a general safety session without checking its content.
